Celebrate Japan!

Spring is finally here and it’s time for everything to bloom into life! Nothing is more spectacular than the Japanese cherry blossoms trees. In fact in cities around the United States there are Cherry Blossom Festivals reminiscent of the ancient Japanese tradition of Hanami, or Sakura.

Harvey Finkle: A Career in Photography

Harvey Finkle is a documentary photographer who has produced a substantial body of work concerned with social, political and cultural issues. He was first inspired to take photos in the early 1960s after seeing an exhibit by photographer Harry Callahan. He bought a camera and began documenting the world around him eventually deciding to leave social work and continue with photography.
