Work With Us

The purpose of our non-profit organization is community service, but the economics of our non-profit organization are similar to the economics of a for-profit business. On the expense side, MiND spends money on staff, rent, transmitter operations, internet distribution, power, legal and accounting services, and more. On the revenue side, MiND earns money through membership, underwriting, production services, grants, and more.

Membership
MiND membership contributions support MiND’s community learning efforts. One membership benefit is submission of an unlimited number of 5-minute programs for use on MiND. While these programs may not be used as infomercials or commercial announcements, they can be used to educate viewers for the public good.

Underwriting
Several times each hour, MiND runs 15-second and 30-second underwriting support announcements. Although these spots are not commercials, they can be used to tell the public about your support for MiND. They are best used to announce your support for MiND’s activities as a forward-thinking public service, and attaching your company or organization’s name and logo to MiND’s activities. It is also possible to demonstrate support by underwriting the cost of MiND productions.

Production Services
For a fee, MiND offers production services on location and in our studio, plus editing and design services. From concept development through production, MiND can produce your 5-minute programs. Our rate card provides information on pricing and services.
