Ordering & Payment

How can I place an order at the MiND Store?
Simply select the product you would like to purchase, and “add to cart,” then proceed to pay at “check out.” MiND uses the safe and secure Google Checkout system for all transactions on our website. Learn more and sign up for a Google account here: http://checkout.google.com

Which types of payment do you accept at your store?
The MiND Store accepts payments by Google Checkout only. When you set up your account with Google Check Out, you can set your preferred payment method, just like when you use PayPal. To learn more about the credit cards accepted: http://checkout.google.com. We are sorry we do not accept cash, money orders or checks at this time for products in our store.

How do I know I can trust using my credit card for purchases at the MiND Store?
The MiND Store is powered by Google Check out. By using Google Check out you can pay safe and securely without entering any payment information into our online store. What is Google Checkout – do I need Gmail?
Google Checkout is a safe and easy way to make online purchases. To use Google Checkout you must have a ‘Google account’ not particularly a Gmail account. Setting up a Google account is free!

You can create a Google account with your existing email (such as Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL, and other providers) and sign up for Google account services (which includes emails, youtube, search, maps, and other Google services). Who do I call if I have a question about a product before I order it?
Reaching us by email is the quickest way to get your questions answered. Please contact us with your questions at store@mindtv.org or by calling, 9AM-5:30PM, 215-483-3900 ext. 195. If we are unable to answer your call at the time it is placed, we will return your message as soon as possible.

How do I cancel or change my order once it has been placed?

Since you are a non-profit, is my purchase tax deductible?
Yes, a portion of your purchase in the MiND Store is tax-deductible. Please contact us to request your tax deductible letter at store@mindtv.org or by phone, 9AM-5:30PM, at 215-483-3900 ext. 195.

How do I use a MiND promo code or coupon?
Congrats – you have a MiND promo code! Start taking advantage of the discounts of MiND membership! It’s easy to enter a promo code. When you are ready to make your purchase using Google Checkout, click “Check Out” and before you confirm your purchase, enter your promo code into the box labeled “Use a coupon” under the “Additional Options” section.

Will you honor third-party coupons on items you are selling in your store?
We are sorry, we cannot accept coupons from other retailers.

What does my purchase benefit?
When you choose to purchase items and experiences from the MiND Store, your purchases benefit our non-profit media organization, Independence Media – providers of channels MiND: Media Independence, Global MiND and MiND Presents MHz Worldview. How do I sign up for a membership to get the member discount in the MiND Store?
Signing up for membership is easy! You can sign up in three ways. Once you become a member, MiND will contact you to provide you a special members-only promo code.

1. Visit us online at www.mindtv.org and click “Become a Member” and Select “Membership for $75.” Follow the prompts to enter your information and payment details.
2. Contact us at 215-483-3900 ext. 223 and we can take your membership donation by credit card over the phone. Or, you may request a membership form to pay by check, money order or cash.
3. You can mail a gift of $75 or more to MiND in the form of a personal check, money order or cash to:

Can I sign-up for MiND membership at the MiND Store?
Sorry – we do not offer MiND membership through the MiND Store. But as a MiND member, you can get great benefits like discounts at the MiND Store!

Can I sign up for MiND training classes in your store?
You can sign up for all of MiND’s training classes on our training website: www.mindtv.org/training. This is also powered by Google Checkout.

Shipping, Delivery & Returns

How much does shipping and handling cost?
Shipping cost is determined at the time of Checkout.

What type of shipping do you use and how long will it take to receive my order?
MiND ships all purchases by Media Mail through the United States Postal Service. You will receive your order in 4-5 weeks from the time of purchase.

Do you ship to a P.O. Box address?
We do not currently ship to P.O. box addresses. Can you ship my order outside the United States? MiND offers shipping only within the United States at this time.

Do you offer expedited shipping?
We do not offer expedited shipping. MiND ships all purchases by Media Mail through the United States Postal Service. You will receive your order in 4-5 weeks from the time of purchase.

If my order takes longer than 4-5 weeks, who do I contact?
Please contact us with your questions at store@mindtv.org or by calling, 9AM-5:30PM, 215-483-3900 ext. 195. If we are unable to answer your call at the time it is placed, we will return your message as soon as possible.

If I am unsatisfied with my purchase, how do I make a return?
Please repackage the purchase and return to MiND with a copy of your receipt, no later than 14 days after receipt of purchase. Postage to be paid by customer. If MiND receives your return after 14 days, we will be unable to refund your purchase.

If I am unsatisfied with my purchase, can I exchange my purchase for another item in your store?
We are unable to offer exchanges of merchandise in the MiND Store.

MiND will not under any circumstances share, sell or otherwise distribute your email address or any other personal information to any third party without your consent. We value the privacy and security of our customers, members and supporters.

Where can I watch MiND, Global MiND and MiND Presents MHz Worldview?
You can watch MiND online from anywhere in the world at www.mindtv.org. In the Greater Philadelphia area, you can receive all three of MiND channels over the air on the following channels:

How can I get copies of the programs MiND airs?
MiND does not have the rights to sell or provide copies of the programs it airs. If you would like a copy of a program, please conduct an internet search to see if copies are available. You may also consult our primary distributors’ websites at www.aptonline.org and www.netaonline.org to see if copies are available.

• MiND: Media Independence (35.1) – You may view MiND programs via our video on demand feature on our website at www.mindtv.org. If there is contact information at the end of the program, copies may be available.

• Global MiND (35.2) - MiND does not have the rights to sell or provide copies of the programs it airs. If you would like a copy of a program, please conduct an internet search to see if copies are available. You may also consult our primary distributors’ websites at www.aptonline.org and www.netaonline.org to see if copies are available.

• MiND Presents MHz Worldview (35.3) - Please consult the MHz Worldview website at http://www.mhznetworks.org/mhzworldview. Please note that in all likelihood MHz Networks does not have rights to sell or provide copies of the programs it airs. You may conduct an internet search for the program to see if copies are available.

How can I get copies of the Korean Dramas?
Copies with English subtitles are generally unavailable. You may check the internet to see if any become available in the future. We do not sell these programs in our MiND Store.
