Who We Are

MiND is TV By the People, For the People.

At MiND we do things differently. We aren’t just in the business of bringing you great TV on-air and online – we are here to bring you a new take on life. A fresh perspective. New experiences. Opportunity. A chance to get involved in something that matters.

MiND is 501(c)3 non-profit organization that believes that putting the power of the media in the hands of the people leaves a lasting positive impact on the world. We have the ability to learn from each other, and MiND is the open forum to do just that – 5-minutes at a time.

Yes, all of our programs are 5-minutes long! We are like a short-story channel that you write. On MiND Channel 35.1 you’ll find programs made by people in your community. It’s like YouTube, but smarter. We aim to keep an agenda out of our content, and to let our members set that agenda.

Television is a pervasive teacher, and at MiND, we want to use our powers for good. On TV we are not trying to sell you something or push a certain ideology. (Of course, in this store you can buy whatever you want!! We need to keep the lights on afterall). All of MiND’s programs contain a learning component, which means you are exposed to ideas that expand your worldview 11 times an hour!

We also are proud to present Global MiND – a 24/7 channel of global news, information and entertainment. Your support helps keep global perspectives on local public television!
