Network for New Music in Residence at Haverford College

Network for New Music, a chamber ensemble that commissions and performs contemporary music, is in residence at Haverford College. The Network for New Music Ensemble has often worked with students in composition classes and with members of student chamber ensembles, helping them to learn about writing and performing contemporary music. Students in Professor Ingrid Arauco's composition class composed short works for piano, clarinet and cello. Members of the Network Ensemble played through their music at a reading session. The feedback of the musicians helped the students to develop their compositional skills, and to appreciate the beauty of contemporary classical music.
